In mid-October, GCP installed temporary directional sidewalk compasses at four subway exits around the Grand Central neighborhood. The compasses were designed to orient pedestrians at street-level subway exits. To measure the success and impact of this pilot program, we solicited public comments and feedback via an online survey. Although the survey period is now closed, you may still send us your comments on the pilot program at info@gcpbid.org.

With the conclusion of the pilot program, GCP is now working with our project partners to evaluate public feedback and consider how to proceed with this initiative. Please check back soon to view the complete survey report.

In the meantime, if you would like to stay up-to-date on the sidewalk compass program and GCP's many other activities here in Midtown, we encourage you to sign up for our free weekly e-mail newsletter by clicking here.

GCP thanks everyone who participated in the survey for their valuable feedback and their interest in this new initiative!
