A FUN SUMMER FUN DRAWS TO A CLOSE IN MIDTOWN

As summertime winds down here in New York City, the Grand Central neighborhood is still buzzing with energy as local cafés throw open their windows, workers squeeze a few extra minutes out of their lunch breaks to soak up some late-summer sunshine, and sidewalks pulse with the return of local workers and residents back from summer vacations. This season, GCP once again bedecked our Midtown community with a vivid tapestry of summer floral plantings, injecting an entire palette of vibrant colors into the urban streetscape. We also injected music into the air with the return of Celebrate Summer in Midtown, our wildly popular outdoor summer concert series. All season long, GCP and our local partners showcased a range of performers from New York City and the surrounding region at lunchtime concerts in outdoor plazas around Midtown, much to the delight of the thousands of music fans who attended these free performances. It was another laid back and relaxing summer here in the Grand Central neighborhood and we hope you had as much as we did!
